DEFENDER OF ROAD ADVENTURE
Our Defender Of Road Adventure Tour trough wonderful Dalmatian Hinterland consists of a ride in Land Rover Defender off-road vehicles on the asphalted and gravel roads. We have prepared two types of Jeep Tours for you, Full Day Tour and Half day tour. The tours include visits to the old settlements and deserted villages in the mountain part of the Dalmatian Inland.
Lunch is usually organized near the small village of Grab in a really nice family owned and operated restaurant next to the river Ruda. If you want we can even organize picnic lunch in the mountains or near the river. We also make stops at some really cool spots along the trail with amazing views where you can even have your coffee or tea. The Full day tour takes us to the Inlands highest peaks, approx (1626m) from where you can see all Dalmatia Inland as well as Peruća Lake and the mountains of the hinterland.
On our way, we will pass through many wonderful fields, farms, vineyards and see abandoned vineyards and miles of stone walls which are several centuries old.
Along with the ride and lunch, we can arrange a visit to Water cave, which is just half an hour from our start point. If guests desire to taste some of the inland’s wine, it can be arranged in the village of Grab or in one of the places that we pass through with jeeps.
Main Difference between our two tours is duration. Another difference is the area where we do our tours.

Trip notes
Distance from start to finish in jeeps: 80km Half day Tour and 160km full Day Tour.
Highest attitude from start to finish: 1680 meters in Full Day Tour and 1100 on a Half day tour.
Swimming: There is a possibility of swimming in the summertime, river, lake… during the Defender Of Road Adventure Tour.
Terrain cars: Land Rover Defender jeeps.
Staff: Drivers and guides.
Fitness Level: Not necessary
Previous experience: Not necessary
Age: Minimum age is 6 years.
Onsite Facilities: Toilets are available at the place where we will be having lunch in the restaurant.
Special Conditions: Some trails are depending on the weather conditions. All safety instructions from Asteria Adventures staff must be adhered to and User statements signed before tour starts.
Number of people per day: Minimum of 4 and a Maximum of 50
Availability: Every day from 1th of February to the end of October. This trip runs if there are 4 or more people. Email us regarding dates, and tell us the number of people in your group. We will inform you about the dates available.
Starts from: Split Area or Sinj Area – pick up and drop off in front of your accommodation place. (pickups are additional 10 EUR Per Person.)
Jeep safari tour departure times: Between 10 AM and 11 AM (or as agreed for each group)
Duration of the Full day tour: 6 to 7 h
Duration of Half Day tour: 4 to 5 h

The price includes: Terrain cars with drivers and gasoline, sandwich snack and water, insurance.
The price does not include: Transfers (Split area additional 10 EUR per person), (Barbecue, 1 drink, cafe, additional 10 EUR per person)
